This workshop builds on the skills and knowledge from our foundations workshop, offering an in-depth exploration of advanced mold-making techniques, paper pulp preparation, and casting methods. Over three 150-minute sessions, plus a personalized 60-minute private session, you'll be introduced to new techniques and methods, deepening your understanding of paper casting.

What to Expect:

• Advanced Mold-Making Techniques: Learn more about creating complex molds, including multi-part molds and layered structures, to expand the possibilities of your paper castings.

• Exploration of Fibers and Plants: Delve into working with various types of natural fibers and plants, discovering how these materials can influence the texture, strength, and aesthetics of your paper creations.

• Guided Artistic Research: Receive personalized support as you plan and develop your own topography and expression on paper. Our goal is to guide you in your artistic research, helping you realize your creative vision with precision and depth.

• In this advanced workshop, we will explore mold-making techniques for paper casting using wax, silicone, and modeling clay.

Our approach is highly practical, focusing on hands-on experimentation with materials, refining casting methods, and perfecting your finished pieces. Each session is recorded, allowing you the flexibility to revisit key concepts and techniques as you continue working on your projects between sessions.
